Sitka Police Department received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.
July 26
At 2:23 a.m. a cab driver reported an intoxicated passenger was refusing to pay the fare, Officers were able to get the passenger home and the fare paid.
At 3:34 a.m. a bonfire was reported on the banks of Swan Lake. Officers found two adults and a baby, who were waiting for a plane flight. Officers took them to the airport, and helped get them food and clothing while they waited for the plane.
A Port Alexander caller said someone had pulled a gun on him a few days before. The matter was turned over to the state troopers.
Officers gave a warning to someone found to have violated a protection order.
At 11:58 a.m. a dog was reported running at large near Yaw Drive. The animal control officer was notified.
At 4:07 p.m. juveniles on off-road bikes were reported riding on the road at Sandy Beach. Officers issued a warning.
At 6;20 p.m. an incident of drunkenness was reported in the 700 block of HPR.
At 7 p.m. an aggressive juvenile was reported posing a problem for a family. Officers were able to calm down the situation.
A caller said a man had yelled at her son for not picking up after his dog. Officers spoke to the caller about options.
At 10:19 p.m. fireworks were reported going off at Eagle Beach.
July 27
At 12;54 a.m. a vehicle was reported driving in circles at Eliason Harbor. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
At 1:27 a.m. a resident reported not having hot water. She was told the matter would be addressed in the morning.
At 2:10 a.m. a bear was seen on Indian River Road.
At 1;41 a.m. a bear was reported on Charlie Joseph Street.
At 4:29 a.m. police assisted troopers in delivering a death notice.
At 5:06 a.m. juveniles were reported to have turned on a forklift in the 1300 block of HPR. A parent was met with, the kids were warned, and the forklift was secured.
At 5:38 a.m. two men were reported rummaging through city and private property at 401 Granite Creek Road. The men were trespassed from the area, and a further investigation of the incident was underway

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 1:24 p.,m. Monday and 1:19 a.m. today.
At 12:38 a.m. an uncontrolled fire was reported in the 5300 block of HPR. A fire crew put it out.
