Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today:
July 28
At 12:18 a.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 1200 block of SMC.
A case of drunkenness was logged at a downtown bar at 12:34 a.m.
Suspicious activity was reported at a downtown hotel at 2:30 a.m.
A citizen assist was reported in the 400 block of Marine Street at 3:19 a.m.
A citizen assist call came in from a downtown hotel at 6:45 a.m.
A parking problem at STA was reported.
At 10 a.m. trespassing was reported at a downtown hotel.
Traffic complaints came in from HPR at Moller Avenue and from Shotgun Alley.
A citizen assist call at the shooting range was posted at 3:45 p.m.
A protection order violation was reported on Monastery Street at 4 p.m.
A citizen assist call came in from Tucson, Arizona.
At 8:29 p.m. drunkenness was reported in the 200 block of Lincoln.
A traffic stop was made on Cascade Creek Road.
July 29
At 2:55 a.m. a traffic stop was made on Shotgun Alley.
At 3:06 a.m. a welfare check was requested at the Indian River trailhead.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 5:18 p.m., 8:12 p.m., 9:34 p.m. and 11:12 p.m. Tuesday, and at 6:32 a.m. today.
At 9:28 p.m. Tuesday a fire alarm sounded at Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center, but there was no fire.
