Another New Tax

Dear Editor: I have sent the following letter to the mayor and Assembly members.

For you elected people who are supposed to represent the citizens of Sitka and are apparently thinking ‘just put a user fee on the services or let’s just tax it’ continue to drive folks out of town.  Hey!  How about just taxing sugar and flour, that way you would get ALL of us!!
