Sitka Police Department logged the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.
June 10
At 7:38 a.m. a dead raven was reported on Kaagwaantaan Street. The carcass was disposed of.
A woman reported having an argument with a friend, who was now having mail sent to her. The woman was advised of her options.
At 9:45 a.m. a dog was reported running at large on Dodge Circle. The ACO was unable to locate it.
Bluetooth headphones were turned in to police.
Two men were reported having a dispute after one man said he’d kicked the other man’s dog because it had licked his leg. Police found nothing criminal had occurred.
A driver parked on the sidewalk in the 300 block of Lincoln Street was told that wasn’t allowed.
A dog running at large at the Starrigavan campgrounds was taken to the shelter.
At 3:59 p.m. a couple was reported having an argument in the 200 block of Harbor Drive. Officers spoke to them and they agreed to go separate ways.
At 4:50 p.m. a raven was reported to have fallen off a power line on Kaagwaantaan and was having convulsions. The Raptor Center was called.
A man who had been running with his dog alongside was told the dog had to be on a leash.
At 7:54 p.m. five juveniles were reported on top of ballfield buildings at Blatchley. Officers told them that wasn’t allowed, and to get down.
June 11
At 4:13 a.m. a woman was reported standing in the middle of the road in the 400 block of Lake Street. She told officers she was waiting for her dog; officers told her to wait on the sidewalk.
At 11 a.m. a man reported a hit and run on Barracks Street.
At 12:50 p.m. a man said fuel had been taken from his boat engine at ANB Harbor. Police are investigating.
At 1:20 p.m. a resident in the 500 block of Marine Street reported a water main was leaking under his house. Police advised the water department.
At 10 p.m. fireworks were reported at Halibut Point Recreation Area. Officers told a wedding party that fireworks weren’t allowed. At 11:57 p.m. more fireworks were reported there.
June 12
A wallet was reported found in a taxi. It was returned to its owner.
At 10:07 a.m. a car was reported broken down at the high school.
Officers reviewed a voice mail, and determined no welfare check was needed.
June 13
At 2:54 a.m. a crash was reported heard in the 200 block of Marine Street. Officers found two vehicles had collided, a Ford Explorer and a Chevy Silverado, and some of the four occupants of the Chevy had assaulted the driver of the Ford. The mother of the driver took him to the hospital, where officers spoke with him. Both vehicles had to be towed. The accident is under investigation, with more details to be released later today.

Sitka Fire Department received three ambulance calls Friday, two on Saturday, and eight on Sunday.
Sitka Police
Mary D. Devaney, 28, was charged Friday with driving under the influence.
Death Reported
In Port Alexander

A 69-year-old man, William Luedke, collapsed and died in Port Alexander Friday. Alaska State Troopers said no foul play is suspected.
Next of kin have been contacted.
