Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.
June 11
At 12:01 a.m. a man and a woman were reported talking at SMC and Indian River Road. Because of the early hour, officers checked it out.
At 3:08 p.m. two juveniles were reported out after curfew, at SMC and Anna Circle. Officers took them to their homes.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 2000 block of HPR at 7:31 a,m. and on Lance Drive at 7:54 a.m.
At 11:42 a.m. a welfare check was requested on Baranof Street.
A hit and run was reported at 506 O’Cain Street at 5:51 p.m.
June 12
At 12:21 a.m. fireworks were reported at Sandy Beach.
At 12:36 a.m. a bear was reported at Verstovia and Pherson streets.
At 4:31 a.m. a problem with juveniles was reported at Market Center.
A drug violation was reported at 9:06 p.m.
June 13
At 12:39 a.m. a disturbance was reported on Lakeview Drive.
An animal problem was reported on Harvest Way at 11:42 a.m.
At 12:52 p.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of Lincoln Street.
Police are investigating a theft, reported at 4:44 p.m.
At 12:22 p.m. a bear was reported near the Channel Club on HPR.
June 14
A domestic problem on Erler Street was reported at 1:25 a.m.
Sitka Police
Quinn Barclay, 21, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received three ambulance calls Friday, one on Saturday, and three more on Sunday.
