Dear Editor: Sitka Tribe of Alaska would like to thank everyone who made the dedication of Preston Singletary’s Xóotsk’I Tláa Kootéeya, Little Bear Mother Story Pole, a success. We appreciate the support and assistance of the City and Borough of Sitka and Centennial Hall staff, the Kaagwaantaan clan, all the elders and dancers who participated in the ceremony, Charlie Skultka Jr. for making gifts for our honored guests, and in-kind donations from Samson Tug & Barge and Dave and Lauren Allen. 

Gunalchéesh to all of you, and to all the Sitka residents who celebrated the dedication with us.
