Police Blotter
Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.
June 2
At 12:44 a.m. a caller reported a fire at Halibut Point Rec. It turned out to be a bonfire, attended by adults.
At 3:12 a.m. an officer checked out a vehicle parked in the 2400 block of HPR.
At 6:24 a.m. a traffic complaint came in from Kramer Avenue.
A protective order was served at 5:38 p.m. on SMC.
At 9:25 p.m. personal items, including checks, were found at the White Elephant shop. Police are attempting to locate the owner.
At 9:27 p.m. a citizen assist in the 3700 block of HPR was logged, after a visitor had difficulty finding where he was to be staying.
June 3
At 12:39 a.m. a parking problem at Eliason Harbor was reported.
At 4:57 a.m. a vehicle was reported stolen in the 2800 block of SMC. Police are investigating.

Sitka Fire Department received four ambulance calls Wednesday and one early today.
