Legislature

Dear Editor: The method of governing our state that is used by our current Legislature is definitely brilliant. The Democrats blame the Republicans for legislative gridlock while the Republicans indignantly point fingers at the Democrats for being obstructionists.

By following this plan nobody in Juneau is responsible for anything and everyone can be squeaky clean of making any unpopular political decisions when it comes time to be re-elected.

It’s becoming clearer to me that the true culprits in our state’s financial crisis are us, the rank and file people of Alaska, the common everyday voters.

We obviously messed it all up by electing the wrong people to represent us.

We elected politicians when we really needed leaders.
