    Sitka police logged the following calls by 8 a.m. today:
June 6
    At 8:19 a.m. a caller said a man had passed out in his vehicle in the police parking lot. The man told officers he’d come off a night shift and was waiting for the employment office to open.
    A caller said her daughter and friends had broken into the caller’s house the past weekend. An officer advised her of her options.
    An ambulance was called for a pedestrian who had an injured arm following a traffic accident on Lincoln.
    The ACO took custody of an abandoned calico cat.
    A caller said a large dog in a vehicle next to hers lunged at her and started barking at the Lake and Lincoln stoplight. The caller said the vehicle was now parked on Lincoln and she was concerned for people walking by. The ACO was notified.
      A caller reported leaving a large sum of money on a table at a restaurant but when she went back to get it workers said the money was never there. The restaurant manager said the cameras were down when the caller was there.
    At 11:07 p.m. a caller said two men sitting in the 1300 block of SMC looked like they had an open container. Officers talked to the men, who poured out the alcohol.
    June 7
    At 6:43 a.m. a hotel said a guest was stuck in the elevator because of the power outage.


Sitka Police
    Patrick J. Obrien, 26, was arrested on a Juneau trooper warrant for a probation violation. He also was charged with resisting arrest, criminal mischief in the fifth degree, and assault in the fourth degree, involving a peace officer.

Emergency Calls
    Sitka Fire Department received seven ambulance calls Thusday.

Grand Jury
    Russell Mark Ruuti Jr., 39, was indicted Thursday on charges of sexual assault in the first degree, sexual assault in the second degree, assault in the second degree, and assault in the third degree, on May 29.
