The Ketchikan High Kings reaffirmed their dominance with a pair of victories over local basketball teams here Thursday night.
It was a repeat performance of Ketchikan’s wins against the same teams on Wednesday.
The Sitka Wolves lost to Kayhi 61-43, though the home team made up some lost ground in the third quarter.
On Japonski Island, the Kings outdid the Lady Braves 51-19. In this matchup, Kayhi players effectively shut down Mt. Edgecumbe’s offense in the second and third quarters. In the second, the Lady braves scored 3 points, and only 2 in the third.
Basketball continues in town through the weekend.
