Kyle Wade Lawson Dies In Fairbanks at Age 28

Kyle Wade Lawson, 28, of Fairbanks, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, as a result of a single vehicle rollover accident.

Kyle was born October 27, 1992, in Sitka to John “Wes” Lawson and Shelley Lawson.

In 2003, Kyle relocated to the Fairbanks/North Pole area with his family, where he attended school locally. Kyle held a special place in his heart for Sitka, where he spent summers with his grandparents.

Kyle’s two children, Joshua and Allison, want people to know their dad loved to eat, but he loved his kids the most. He was a good person and his bear hugs were his daughter’s favorite. He was an avid gamer and passionate about music. He loved camping, fishing, four-wheeling, and above all, doing those things with his kids.

Kyle was preceded in death by his father, John “Wes” Lawson Jr.; grandfather, John Lawson Sr.; and grandmother, Linda DePoe.

Kyle is survived by his mother, Shelley Lawson, of Absarokee, Montana; two children, Joshua Lawson and Allison Bellant, both of Fairbanks; and grandmother, Linda Lawson of Hoopeston, Illinois; and various aunts, uncles, friends, and family members.

Kyle’s ashes will be spread with those of his father and grandfather in Sitka, at a later date.
