Dear Editor: Time is running out!

The days are getting shorter and the world is more and more bogged down in crisis after crisis.

I’d love Sitkans to sometimes put down the signs at the roundabout and join together and move to discuss and solve some issues.

There’s a big tent, terrific food trucks with donuts, ice creams, home brewed coffees, and international cuisines to energize folks! We all care in our different ways. And differences can lead to workable solutions.

Full disclosure! I’m 86 years old and fear I don’t have enough time left to just stand with a sign. I’d love Americans get to work on their common grounds.
