Local Adventure

Sitkans try out one of the aerial walks at the Sheenák Park/Sheet’ká Treetop Adventures Sunday afternoon. Hundreds turned out for the locals day free event hosted by Shee Atiká at the park, located just past the cruise terminal at 4951 Halibut Point Road. Events included a cultural welcome, ribbon cutting and barbecue salmon lunch. Because of the high turnout Shee Atiká offered rain checks for those unable to get through the line.
