Sitka Police Department logged the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.
February 28
At 1:40 a.m. an incident of drunkenness was reported at Smith Street and SMC.
At 2 a.m. an incident of drunkenness was reported at Totem Square.
A driver’s license was dropped off at the police station.
A stall door was damaged at the women’s public restroom at Crescent Harbor.
A dead cat was found in the 3300 block of HPR. The animal control officer was notified.
A man complained of calls from a scammer. He was advised of options.
At 4:37 p.m. a man was reported in the middle of Peterson Street yelling. Officers advised him to go home.
At 6:55 p.m. a man and woman who appeared intoxicated were reported causing a disturbance in the Seward and Marine streets area. The woman continued to cause a disturbance in the area before agreeing to leave. Police said she was able to care for herself.
Sitka Police
Jenifer Clark, 43, was arrested Monday on a charge of violating conditions of release on Jan. 26 charges of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second and third degrees.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received three ambulance calls Monday.
In Court
Cameron Camille Ramirez-Hanson, 22, on an amended charge of negligent driving on Aug. 6, 2021, was fined $300.
A charge of criminal mischief in the fourth degree, filed against David W. Skultka, 39, was dismissed without prejudice by the prosecutor Monday.

The following couples filed for marriage licenses during January and February: Ethan Pike and Michelle Casey; Kyle Bolla and Kaitlyn Hull; Ian Crane and Laura Bennett; and Kristopher Pearson and Danielle McGraw.
Divorces
The following couples were granted divorces in February: Isabella Zora Powers and Mohammed Azman Ameerali Merican; Paul Bartholomew Brott and Krista Marie (Kane) Brott; and Nathaniel James Burling and Breanna Jean (Brock) Burling.
