Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today:
March 13
Between 12:36 a.m. and 2:52 a.m. traffic stops were made at Brady
Street and HPR; 1100 HPR; and 1000 HPR.
At 6 a.m. suspicious activity was reported at Petro Express.
At 7:38 a.m. a traffic complaint came in from Lake and Lincoln streets.
At 1:27 p.m. transport was requested at Alaska Seaplanes.
An alarm was sounded at a bank at 6:27 p.m.
A protection order violation was reported at Eliason Harbor at 9:15 p.m.
March 14
EMS was called to Wachusetts Street at 1:30 a.m.; to a Burkhart Street apartment at 2:09 a.m.; and the Pioneer Bar at 11:12 p.m.
A domestic problem was reported at apartments at 7:24 a.m.
A domestic problem was reported at 11:55 p.m. at an agency.
At 3:50 p.m. suspicious activity was reported at Keet Gooshi Heen.
“Citizen contact” reports came in from the 300 block of Katlian Street at 5 p.m.; from under the O’Connell Bridge at 5:07 p.m.; at the police station at 7:29 p.m.; and from the 1900 block of Cascade Creek Road at 11:31 p.m.
At 7:18 p.m. a traffic accident with damage was reported at Eliason Harbor.
March 15
An EMS call came in from the 4700 block of HPR at 12:52 p.m.
Suspicious activity was reported at the shooting range at 3:51 p.m.
At 7 p.m. a hotel requested a welfare check.
Suspicious activity was reported at a convenience store at 10 p.m.
Police contacted a citizen on Price Street at 10:14 p.m.
At 10:58 p.m. an ambulance was called for the 500 block of HPR.
March 16
Police received reports of lost property, at 5:20 a.m. and 6:32 a.m.
At 4:41 a.m. a welfare check was sought in the 3200 block of HPR.
Sitka Police
Oleana Valley, 21, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for failing to appear, and charged with violating release condition for not staying in contact with her pretrial enforcement officer.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department dispatched seven ambulances on Friday, two on Saturday, and six on Sunday.
