Dear Editor: Our beautiful Sitka is amazing in so many ways, not the least of which is that Sitkans work together to achieve much wonderfulness for our community. Because we are amidst a time of enormous challenge regarding the impacts of our changing climate and increased fossil fuel prices, Transition Sitka has formed to help facilitate collaboration, connection and work on projects to further strengthen our resilience and local economy. Our group’s work is dedicated to the well-being of all.
