Ukraine Support

Dear Editor: I contacted the offices of Gov. Mike Dunleavy, Sen. Bert Stedman, Rep. Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins, and the Alaska Permanent Dividend Fund Corporation today to request they make it a priority to move forward to divest money, assets and institutions from Russian entities that support the war in Ukraine. Divestment can be by executive order, legislation or voluntary action.  Other states are in the process of taking similar steps as reported in the Sitka Sentinel, Anchorage Daily News and national news sources.

Please consider making similar calls. Ask that your name and request is documented by each office. Collectively our voices can push for actions that will support democracy and the people of Ukraine.
