The following calls were recorded as of 8 a.m. today.

March 1

At 9:45 a.m. a caller asked for a welfare check on a relative who was drinking heavily in totem park. He was located and taken to the hospital.

At 11:42 a.m. a service station said a driver had left without paying. Police located the driver, who agreed to return and pay.

At 11:50 a.m. a break-in and a theft was reported at a storage unit on Jarvis Street. Police opened a case.

At 12:58 p.m. a rifle was reported stolen on Lance Drive.

At 7:33 p.m. a caller reported a woman in the 100 block of Lincoln Street appeared to be confused and disoriented. Police contacted her and someone stayed with her until a friend arrived.

At 10:46 p.m. a woman at the ANB Harbor reported her phone had been stolen.

March 2

At 5:17 a.m. a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Lincoln Street, in violation of parking regulations, was moved so snow could be cleared.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received two ambulance calls Wednesday, and two more early today.
