Police Blotter
The following calls were recorded as of 8 a.m. today.
March 17
At 10:09 a.m. a suspicious person was reported at the ANB Harbor.
A theft was reported at Eliason Harbor at 11:46 a.m.
Police assisted a citizen at the skate park at 7:17 p.m.
At 8:18 p.m. a caller reported a loud truck appeared to be tearing up the Kimsham ball fields. Police talked to persons in the area and determined the report was unfounded.
At 10:20 p.m. a man wearing all black was reported looking in car windows in the 200 block of Marine Street. Police found no man meeting the description.
March 18
At 12:19 a.m. a driver was reported to have hit a residence on Davidoff Street. Police reported damage but no injuries.
At 12:40 p.m. a boating accident was reported at Crescent Harbor. See story on Page 1.
At 5:51 p.m. three individuals were reported causing a problem near Centennial Hall. Police asked them to leave and they did so.
March 19
At 6:45 p.m. several people were reported fighting in the 4600 block of HPR. All parties agreed to separate. One refused transport to the hospital. Police found no firearms were involved.

Sitka Fire Department received one ambulance call Friday, two on Saturday and two on Sunday.

Michael Souza, 44, was arrested Saturday on a charge of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fifth degree.
Juvencio Garcia Jr., 44, was arrested Sunday on charges of assault in the third degree and assault in the fourth degree, domestic violence.
Connor Nelson, 78, was arrested by troopers Sunday on a charge of driving under the influence.
