Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

March 22

At 4:16 a.m. suspicious activity was reported on Katlian Street.

At 11:38 a.m. a domestic problem was reported on Anna Drive.

At 11:53 a.m. a welfare check was requested on Katherine Benson Drive.

A juvenile problem was repored at 3:09 p.m. near a downtown bank.

A bike was reported stolen at 3:35 p.m. in the 1700 block of HPR.

A civil dispute was reported on Harvest Way at 5:06 p.m.

At 8:07 p.m. a disturbance was reported in the 4700 block of HPR.

At 9:55 p.,m. a security check was requested at a business on Harbor Drive.

March 23

At 5:19 a.m. a domestic problem was reported on Darrin Drive.

At 5:53 a.m. an agency assist  was given at 507 Airport Road.

Sitka Police

Richard L. Sam Jr., 39, was charged Monday night with  assault.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received six ambulance calls Monday.
