Affordable Care Act

Dear Editor: I have a bit of paper I saved from six to seven years ago about the United States’ annual military budget.

This evening I watched some debates in Congress (D.C.) leading up to tomorrow – the start of – ‘‘repeal and replace’’: the Affordable Care Act. Never mind that my wife’s and my annual bill went down about 80 percent with ‘‘Obamacare.’’

So: annual U.S.A. military outgoes $653 billion per year equals roughly $1.2 million per minute. A large amount of those dollars protect foreign countries.

The annual cost in the federal budget for ‘‘Obamacare’’ I’m not sure of. I seriously think that the cost is not $1.2 million per minute.

Also: the ‘‘A.C.A.’’ is solely for the good of American citizens ...

Duh.
