The following calls were logged as of 8 a.m. today.
March 22
A caller said his estranged wife was threatening to harm herself. She told officers she didn’t wish to harm herself.
At 4:24 p.m. a 911 caller reported a fight on Lance Drive resulted in an injury. EMS was called.
At 6:20 p.m. a 911 caller said a boat was taking on water at Crescent Harbor. The boat owner was notified.
March 23
At 8:14 a.m. a caller said a woman had been yelling at children at a playground on Airport Road, and searchers had found what appeared to be a camp in a wooded area. An officer told the caller police would do a walk-though.
At 9:39 a.m. a caller said an employee was acting oddly and admitted to using a narcotic. Officers took the employee in protective custody.
At 2:16 p.m. a downtown store said a man was banging on things and yelling at staff. Officers found the man was intoxicated but able to take care of himself. He agreed to head home.
A caller said individuals appeared to have a campfire in totem park. Park staff said they would speak to them.
At 9:16 p.m. a caller said a dog had been barking and whining inside a vehicle in the 400 block of Lincoln for at least four hours and she was concerned for its safety. Officers were advised.
At 10:20 p.m. a caller said upstairs neighbors were stomping and looking in their windows. Police issued the neighbors a warning.
At 11 p.m. a caller complained about a bonfire gathering in the 4400 block of HPR. Officers gave one man a disorderly conduct warning and several males warnings for minor consuming. Two males were taken home.
March 24
At 6:38 a.m. a man was reported to be sleeping in the grass in the 800 block of Lincoln Street. Officers referred him to the Salvation Army.
At 8 a.m. a caller said an “unsavory individual” was sleeping at a table next to his in a restaurant. The caller said the individual wasn’t doing anything other than sleeping but he didn’t feel he should have to eat next to someone who “looked like that.”
TSA reported unattended bags at the airport terminal. They were gone when officers arrived.
At 11 a.m. a man in the 800 block of HPR said his window broken by a rock.
At 1:25 p.m. a resident was reported standing and staring at houses for 45 minutes on Brady Street. He was gone when officers arrived.
At 3:29 p.m. a woman flagged down police to report a vehicle in a ditch on Kramer Avenue. The car owner’s wife said her daughter lost control of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
At 5:30 p.m. a 911 caller said a man sped into a trailer court, screamed and started hitting a vehicle. The man, who was on the phone with his girlfriend, told officers he didn’t know he was being loud. He agreed to calm down.
Police responded to a report of a drunk driver, and found the vehicle parked and no one around.
At 9:30 p.m. two people were seen getting into a thrift shop dumpster. They told officers they were looking for things to make teddy bears with. They were told to clean up their mess.
March 25
An ambulance was called for a person in withdrawal.

Sitka Police
Joseph Williams, 42, was charged with disorderly conduct Friday evening.
James Nielsen Jr., 65, was charged with criminal trespass Friday evening.
Darroch Coonradt, 22, was charged with driving while intoxicated early Saturday morning.

Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 4:27 p.m. Friday; 1:18 a.m. Saturday; 2:38 and 4:59 p.m. Sunday and 1:37 a.m. today.
At 1:24 p.m. Friday a truck was sent to 118 Lincoln Street on a false alarm.
At 1:36 p.m. Saturday a truck was sent to 485 Lincoln St. after an alarm was pulled by mistake.
