Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

March 24

A traffic accident with damage was reported at 2:48 a.m. A driver reported sideswiping a vehicle at a driveway in the 1700 block of  SMC.

Suspicious activity was reported at the Totem Park visitor center at 9:28 a.m.

At 12:27 p.m. a welfare check was requested at a downtown hotel.

At 1 p.m. a driver reported being struck while leaving Market Center. The driver gave police a license number.

At 5:47 p.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 2000 block of SMC.

At 5:47 p.m. a driver reported one vehicle had backed into another at Crescent Harbor, causing slight damage.

At 11:57 p.m. a disturbance was reported in the 4800 block of HPR.

 

Emergency  Calls

 

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 11:48 a.m. and 4:57 p.m. Wednesday.
