Dessert Auction
Dear Editor: Sitkans Against Family Violence would like to thank everyone who contributed to our successful online dessert auction fundraiser. Dessert makers stepped forward, pledged their amazing creations, and delivered them on time so that the lucky winners could pick them up as expected. Watching how all elements fell into place was an uplifting experience for the organizers. We would like to extend our gratitude to all those who contributed a dessert and who bid on one. We hope they had fun and enjoyed their wins to the fullest.
We also thank the Sentinel, KCAW, KIFW, and Sitka Soup for promoting this fundraiser. They are the secret helpers to all local non-profits. Without them, our work would be more difficult.
Thanks again and Gunalchéesh to all supporters of SAFV. You continuously support our mission of providing free empowerment-based safety and advocacy services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence while promoting a community of non-violence and respect.
