Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today:

March 25

At 12:18 a.m. a caller reported suspicious activity in the 400 block of Katlian Street.

Transportation was requested in the 4700 block of HPR at 2:04 a.m.

At 2:48 a.m. suspicious activity was reported on Brady Street.

EMS calls came in at 5:42 a.m. on Wachusetts; 7:37 a.m. on Lake Street, and 3:30 p.m. from Price Street.

At 2:34 p.m. a downtown hotel reported a theft.

At 2:42 p.m. suspicious activity was reported on Harbor Mountain Road.

A citizen assist call came in at 3:03 p.m. from Georgeson Loop and Charteris Street.

At 7:43 p.m. suspicious activity was reported at a liquor store.

March 26

At 3:05 a.m. suspicious activity was reported on Andrew Hope Street.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received two ambulance calls Wednesday.

 

In Court

Probation was ordered revoked for Jake L. Kranz, 25, after he was found to have violated conditions of probation in a September 2019 case of assault in the fourth degree (causing fear of injury). Probation is to be reimposed and all remaining time re-suspended.
