Death Penalty
Dear Editor: Even atheists are willing to entertain the notion that one historical ‘‘Jesus of Nazareth’’ may have been wrongfully convicted and summarily executed. If so, it is equally probable that wrongfully convicted citizens may presently occupy death row cages on United States territories. Imposition of capital punishment necessarily condones ‘‘collateral damage’’ ... a euphemism for lynching.
