Benefit Dinner Thanks
Dear Editor: Wow, wow, wow and thank you, thank you, thank you, Sitka Elks Lodge, for the amazing fund raiser for The Salvation Army! The generosity of Sitka is very humbling, and we are grateful, grateful, grateful.
It was fun to be together and share. The dessert auction was delicious and went super well. Thank you, everyone, for creating delicious treats and donating items and for coming to dinner. We are going to be able to help many of our family in Sitka who find themselves in need from this fundraiser.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Thank you from everyone who will be blessed because you ate hamburgers and fries and bid on dessert! Thank you for caring for others so well. God is honored, and this community is blessed, blessed, blessed.

Fiesta Fundraiser
Dear Editor: Muchas Gracias! A very heartfelt thank you to all involved in Sitka Pregnancy Center’s Fiesta Fundraiser. The decorations were amazing! From the flying papel picados to the sweet sound of the Mariachi Band, the flowers and the street tacos – it felt as though you were indeed in a plaza south of the border.
So many silent auction items to bid on and the creatively transformed books, paper, and cardboard items were fantastic. A special thank you to all the artists who gave freely of their time and talents. We are so blessed in Sitka! The Fiesta was a great success – not just financially, but also for the joy of having folks come out in support of our Sitka families. Thank you for being a part of this event. Looking forward to next year.
