The following calls were recorded as of 8 a.m. today.
March 7
At 12:33 a.m. police checked on three men near Centennial Hall. They were found to be okay.
At 9:44 a.m. a vehicle was reported to have scraped a yellow barrier pole near Baranof Elementary School. Damage was minor.
At 2:44 p.m. a caller reported a possibly intoxicated driver in the 700 block of HPR. Police found no one driving erratically.
At 6:49 p.m. a caller said a driver in a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Lincoln Street appeared to be slumped over. Police found the driver was okay.

Sitka Fire Department received two ambulance calls Tuesday.
Sitka Police
Donald Kubik, 54, was arrested on a bench warrant Tuesday for failure to appear on a Dec. 23, 2022, charge of driving with a canceled or revoked driver’s license.
In Court
Jacob J. Ogilvie, 41, was sentenced Feb. 27 on three charges filed June 20, 2020. On a charge of reckless endangerment he was sentenced to three months with all but the time served suspended. On a charge of criminal mischief in the fourth degree (property damage $250-$749) he was sentenced to three months, suspended, and on a charge of misconduct involving weapons in the third degree (felon in possession, a class C felony) he was sentenced to two years, suspended. Two charges of assault in the third degree – causing fear of injury with a weapon – were dismissed. He is to be on probation for three years; is to pay $720 in restitution; and is to obtain an integrated behavioral health assessment and follow recommendations.
Coast Guard
Coast Guard Air Station Sitka performed a double medevac Tuesday for two Haines patients, and flew both to Juneau for treatment.
One patient was a 60-year-old woman with intestinal bleeding and the other was a 72-year-old man with stroke symptoms.
The Air Station got the call for help at 2:18 p.m. and launched about an hour later. The helicopter arrived in Haines to pick up the patients at 4:31 p.m., and took them to Juneau for care by 5:30 p.m. The helicopter and crew were back in Sitka by 6:35 p.m.
