Marine Debris Cleanup

MARINE DEBRIS CLEANUP – Students in Stacy Golden’s Sitka High School marine biology class hold some of the 620 pounds of trash they picked up on Biorka Island Wednesday. Collaborators included Ocean Conservancy, Sitka Sound Science Center and Sitka Tribe of Alaska. The trip was funded by the Sitka Alaska Permanent Charitable Trust.
