Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.
May 10
An agency assist was logged at 9:36 a.m. in the 200 block of Cascade Creek Road.
During the morning, parking problems were reported in the Castle Hill parking area and Crescent Harbor.
At 10:36 a.m. and 10:44 a.m. callers reported suspicious activity in the 100 block of Harbor Mountain Road.
At 1:11 p.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of Lincoln Street.
At 8:10 p.m. a disturbance was reported in the 2300 block of HPR.
At 8:59 p.m. citizen contact was made at a business in the 200 block of Smith Street.
May 11
At 12:16 a.m. trespassing was reported at a Lake Street hotel.
At 4:18 a.m. a bear was reported getting into a dumpster in the 4800 block of HPR.
At 5:03 a.m. a dead deer was found in the 4800 block of HPR. An officer took the carcass to the Alaska Raptor Center.
Sitka Police
Devon Daly, 33, was charged Monday with misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree and misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fifth degree.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received five ambulance calls Monday.
