Sitka Police Department logged the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.

May 10

At 2:37 a.m. a woman was given a ride to a shelter.

A woman called police about a child who was out of control. She called a few minutes later to say she no longer needed help. She was told to call back if the situation changed.

An officer tagged abandoned vehicles at Crescent Harbor, Back Beach and Moller field.

A man reported his vehicle had been hit and a note had been left by a driver.

At 4:51 p.m. a caller reported the radio had been stolen out of his truck while it was parked at Sealing Cove.

At 5:57 p.m. a welfare check was requested on a man in the 700 block of HPR. Officers took the man to another location.

A landlord-tenant issue was reported on Edgecumbe Drive. The caller was advised of options.

A domestic argument was reported at Eliason Harbor. One person was taken to a shelter.

A caller said her ex-boyfriend was tailgating her. She was advised of her options.

At 8:37 p.m. a woman reported her cat was missing at Wolf Drive and SMC.

At 10:51 p.m. an out-of-town caller asked for a welfare check on two family members.

At 11:56 p.m. a man called from downtown to report feeling threatened. Officers determined no crime had been committed.

May 11

At 12:45 a.m. an officer talked to a driver about having an incorrect license plate. The driver agreed to fix the problem.

Sitka Fire Department received four ambulance calls Tuesday.
