The following calls were logged as of 8 a.m. today.
May 10
At 4:04 a.m. a person was reported banging on a door on Etolin Way. Police found it was someone who had been locked out of a short-term rental, and provided assistance.
At 5:58 a.m. a man was reported celebrating in the 400 block of Lake Street. He was found to be able to care for himself.
An out-of-town caller asked for a welfare check on a friend. The friend was found to be fine.
Three men who had left litter in the 400 block of Lake Street were told to clean it up.
A man whose van was in danger of going into the ocean in the 3200 block of HPR was given advice on having it towed. The van was on private property.
At 10:22 p.m. intoxicated juveniles were reported looking into vehicles on Burkhart Drive. Two of them were taken home.
May 11
At 12:51 a.m. a sexual assault was reported on Lance Drive. A police investigation is underway.
At 7:12 a.m. training involving the city emergency response vessel was begun at Thomsen Harbor.
