The following calls were recorded as of 8 a.m. today.

May 1

A caller on Burkhart Drive said someone had put Gorilla Glue on a vehicle, but declined to pursue charges.

At 10:55 a.m. two men were reported in an altercation in the area of SMC and Baranof Street. Police are investigating.

A complaint of trespassing came in from Moller Drive, but it was found to be a misunderstanding.

At 2:36 p.m. fireworks were reported in the 200 block of Katlian. It was found to be part of a child’s birthday celebration.

At 3:12 p.m. an intoxicated man was reported sleeping near the library. He was awakened and left the area.

At 3:56 p.m. two male juveniles were reported in an altercation near Blatchley. Police are investigating.

 

Sitka Police

Matthew Spiegle, 26, was charged Monday with violating conditions of probation.

Emily Iknokinok-Rodgers, 26, was charged Monday with violating conditions of probation.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received three ambulance calls Monday.
