Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

May 19

A welfare check was requested in the 1500 block of SMC at 1:26 a.m.

At 6:07 a.m. a bear was seen on Andrew P. Hope Street.

At 8:46 a.m. a caller reported a lost cat, on Cascade Creek Road. But it returned home on its own.

An incident of drunkenness was reported at Totem Square at 9:44 a.m.

A domestic problem was reported on Etolin Way at 1:44 p.m.

A civil dispute was reported at Gil Truitt Court.

Police took a call about a possibly abused dog, off SMC.

Citizen contact was made on Raptor Way at 7:40 p.m.

Harassment was reported on Andrews Street at 9:45 p.m.

Citizen contact was made at Back Beach at 11:01 p.m.

May 20

At 12:10 a.m. a security check was made in the 3200 block of HPR.

At 2:13 a.m. citizen contact was made at SMC and Lake Street.

At 3:02 a.m. a bear was reported on Rudolph Walton Circle.

At 5:08 a.m. a welfare check was made on Cascade Creek Road.

 

Sitka Police

Allana Carlos, 24, was arrested on a felony warrant.

Jack Joseph, 31, was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received three ambulance calls Wednesday.

At 9:20 a.m. today a boat was reported overturned near Islander Drive. No action was needed.
