Dear Editor: I would like to update the many folks who are wondering about the status of CSN (Christian Satellite Network) Radio, 91.9 FM. The station has been off the air for the last few months due to signal interference and we are in need of a new antenna site/location.

Bike Rodeo Thanks
Dear Editor: This year’s Sitka Rotary Club-sponsored Bike Rodeo was a big success, in large part because of our partners.
The Coast Guard provided the hangar, the Sitka Police Department had a great table that provided safety information on things like signaling and riding on the right side of the road, Sitka Community Hospital helped with organizational support, SEARHC provided materials for the skill course, the State of Alaska came through with helmets and the Alaska Computer Center provided reflective material so your young riders can be seen at a distance.
One of the most important parts of the rodeo is the mechanics station because keeping bikes tuned up and making sure the brakes are in good working order is critically important. A huge thanks goes to Eric Haseltine, who donated his time and considerable talents to help dozens of kids with their bicycles.
Many kids love the freedom and fun that comes from riding a bicycle and for over 30 year the Rotary Club of Sitka has organized this family-friendly event to serve this age group. We are so pleased to be a part of this Sitka tradition and so appreciative of the parents, siblings, and everyone who has supported the rodeo and safe cycling throughout the years.
