Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.
May 24
At 1:52 a.m. trash was reported strewn about on Indian River Road. The officer who’d received the report cleaned up the area.
At 5:35 a.m. citizen contact was made in the 3100 block of HPR.
At 8:13 p.m. suspicious activity was reported at the Halibut Point Rec area.
At 8:28 a.m. chickens were reported running at large on Finn Alley.
A theft was reported at Sealing Cove at 12:52 p.m.
At 1:19 p.m. a case of harassment was reported at Crescent Harbor. It was resolved.
Police received a report of a rape at 1:27 p.m.
At 2:18 p.m. was reported in the 900 block of HPR.
At 4:02 p.m. kids were reported playing on heavy equipment on Andrews Street.
At 4:29 p.m. a problem with a child on DeArmond Street was reported.
A family fight on Lance Drive was reported at 5:20 p.m.
May 25
At 3:26 a.m. a domestic problem was reported in the 2000 block of SMC.
At 4:15 p.m. a protective order in the 3400 block of HPR was logged.
Sitka Police
Justin Osbakken, 30, was arrested Monday on a charge of driving with a revoked license.
Charline Skultka, 23, was arrested Monday on a warrant for failure to appear for an arraignment.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received four ambulance calls Monday.
