Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today:

May 22

Criminal mischief was reported at 8:28 a.m. on Keet ball field and at 8:28 a.m. at 222 Marine Street.

At 11 a.m. a sexual assault was reported.

A protection order violation was reported at 3:25 p.m.

Suspicious activity was reported at businesses on Smith Street at 5:12 p.m. and at 5:39 p.m.

A domestic problem was reported on Alice Island.

At 10:19 p.m. fireworks were reported on Shotgun Alley.

At 11:46 p.m. a parking problem was reported at the Indian River trail head.

May 23

Domestic problems were reported at 12:20 a.m. at a residence, and at 3:03 a.m. at an HPR trailer court.

A theft was reported at Eliason Harbor.

A liquor store reported harassment at 4:47 p.m.

A traffic complaint came in from Nelson Logging Road.

At 9:35 p.m. suspicious activity was reported near Totem Square.

Traffic stops were made at 1800 HPR and on Harbor Mountain Road.

May 24

At 4:24 a.m. a disturbance was reported at  a Lincoln Street apartment building.

Suspicious activity was reported at Crescent Harbor at 2 p.m.;  at a SMC convenience center at 5:44 p.m.; and at a downtown hotel at 7:09 p.m.

A traffic accident with damage was reported 9:27 p.m. at a Katlian medical center.

At 9:51 p.m. an assault was reported at Eliason Harbor.

At 10:22 p.m. an assault was reported at Eliason Harbor.

A theft was reported on Etolin Way.

May 25

Suspicious activity was reported at Bahovec Court at 2:38 a.m.; and on Anna Drive at 6:09 a.m.

At 11 a.m. a caller reported a disturbance at a downtown business.

A bike theft was reported at 7:34 p.m. on Katlian Street.

At 8:14 p.m. a bear was reported in the 4700 block of HPR.

 

Sitka Police

Moses Jarquin, 19, was charged Friday with disorderly conduct.

Yma “Jackie” Steadman was charged Friday with two counts of violating a stalking order and one charge of violating conditions of release.

Amanda Skultka, 33, was charged Saturday with criminal mischief in the fourth degree, domestic violence, and two counts of violating conditions of release.

Louis Handerson, 46, was arrested on two warrants, for driving with a revoked license and violating conditions of release.

Christopher Kodger, 53, was charged Sunday with assault.

Eperu Roe, 48, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence and driving with a revoked license.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received three EMS calls Friday, none Saturday, seven on Sunday and three on Monday.
