Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.
May 26
At 2:41 a.m. a security check was made at Mt. Edgecumbe Medical center.
At 6:12 a.m. a security check was made at 700 Katlian.
A bear was reported at Sitka National Cemetery at 7:01 p.m.
At 1:19 p.m. an animal problem was reported on Pherson Street.
At 5:27 p.m. a woman reported a cat keeps coming into her yard on Lance Drive and going after the squirrels. She wanted to know what her options are.
At 8:33 p.m. trespassing at Eliason Harbor was reported.
At 9:21 p.m. a report was made that a man had been seen in the bushes, off Andrew P. Hope Street.
At 10:39 p.m. a woman reported someone had hit her parked car at 300 Seward Street and left.
May 27
At 12:23 a.m. citizen contact was reported at a downtown bar.
At 1:37 a.m. an assault was reported at a downtown facility. Police are investigating.
Sitka Police
Justin Osbakken, 30, was arrested on a warrant Wednesday for failing to appear at arraignment on a charge of driving while his license was revoked.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls Wednesday at 12:33 p.m. and 6:03 p.m.
