The following calls were recorded as of 8 a.m. today.
May 2
At 12:39 a.m. and 12:49 a.m. security checks were made at downtown bars.
An abandoned vehicle was tagged on Price Street.
A sex offense report was to be documented.
May 3
At 12:43 a.m. a report by the Office of Children’s Services of a sexual assault was placed under investigation.
At 1:18 a.m. a parking problem was reported at Crescent Harbor.
At 5:15 a.m. a caller complained of loud music coming from the Crescent Harbor restroom. Police asked a man to lower the volume, and he did so.
Sitka Police
James J. Tipton, 35, was charged with a pre-trial violation.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received eight ambulance calls Tuesday.
At 3:32 p.m. Thursday the department responded to an automatic alarm over a broken sprinkler pipe on Peterson Avenue.
