Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.
May 4
At 12:04 a.m. citizen contact was made at the post office.
At 4:02 a.m. a traffic accident with injury was reported in the 2700 block of HPR. The driver was treated at the hospital.
A fraud was reported in the 2500 block of SMC.
At 11:34 a.m. a disturbance was reported on Charteris Street.
At 2:45 p.m. a person was reported missing on SMC.
At 7:12 p.m. a traffic accident with damage was reported in the 300 block of Seward Street.
An incident of drunkenness was reported at Crescent Harbor at 7:21 p.m.
At 7:37 p.m. suspicious activity was reported on HPR.
An animal problem was reported on Toivo Circle at 9:16 p.m.
May 5
At 1:59 a.m. a welfare check on Andrew P. Hope Street was requested.
At 2:38 a.m. a traffic accident was reported at 420 Katlian Street. (See story, page 1.)
At 5:26 a.m. citizen contact was made at the Russian Bishop’s House on Lincoln Street.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received six ambulance calls Tuesday and one at 2:45 a.m. today.
Sitka Police
Nathan Evak, 22, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence.
Calan Putman, 24, was charged early today with driving under the influence.
