Sitka Police Department received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.

May 6

A third party reported a violation of a protection order. The victim did not file a report, however.

At 10:34 a.m. a caller said a driver was going 20 mph under the limit and swerving in the 1800 block of HPR. Police did not find a vehicle matching the description.

A vehicle that had been left parked for a long time on Edgecumbe Drive was found not to be abandoned. It was moved.

At 3:44 p.m.police stood by while the electric department made repairs in the 3300 block of HPR.

At 10:25 p.m. an intoxicated man was reported to have left a downtown bar and driven away. Police were unable to find a vehicle matching the description.

May 7

At 1:19 a.m. an intoxicated woman from out of town was reported screaming in the 200 block of Harbor Drive. She was escorted back to her lodgings twice.

At 5:32 a.m. trash was reported at SMC and HPR. An officer picked it up.

At 6:10 a.m. a caller reported fraud at a bank. He was given a number for his insurance and a government phone number where he could make a report.
