Police Blotter

The following calls were recorded as of 8 a.m. today.

May 8

At 1:30 a.m. multiple calls came in about yelling and screaming on Burkhart Drive. Police investigated but no one wanted to press charges.

A security check was made at the airport parking lot at 10:35 a.m.

A cell phone was found in the 4000 block of HPR, and was returned to the owner.

At 7:08 p.m. an intoxicated  woman was reported screaming in the post office parking lot. When police arrived she had stopped screaming, and agreed to leave.

A man talked to police at the station about a problem and was given some options.

At 9:29 p.m. police assisted a woman who was locked out of her car on Granite Creek Road.

At 11:44 p.m. a security check was made at HPR and Harbor Mountain Road.

Sitka Fire Department received three ambulance calls Monday.
