Need Police Building

Dear Editor: I would like to encourage the citizens of Sitka to care about the state of the deteriorating conditions at the Sitka Police Department building.

In the past, I have explained all of the poor conditions. Now we just need to act. There are infrastructure grants that can be obtained. There is no reason that it has been so many years that they have to work in those conditions. Have you seen the women's prison? Take a tour, as I have, and look at the dungeon.
