No on 1

Dear Editor: I have listened carefully to the proponents of Proposition 1. Prop 1 limits some individual’s freedom to travel to Sitka. This is supposed to indirectly control the cruise ship industry in Sitka. My problem with this is that if Prop. 1 passes, and survives legal challenges, then other communities outside of Alaska are free to limit visits from some of us. This is why I am voting no on Prop. 1.
