Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

November 5

Between 1:08 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. five bear calls came in from Charlie Joseph and Andrew P. Hope streets.

At 1:08 a.m. two calls came in reporting a bear at 113 Harbor Mountain Road.

At 1:11 a.m. a bear was reported on Patterson Way.

At 1:26 a.m. a bear was reported at 140 Granite Creek Road.

At 4:18 a.m. a bear was reported on Cascade Creek Road, and at 4:25 a.m.. and 4:29 a.m. two more callers reported a bear, at 2018 and 2016 Cascade Creek Road.

A domestic problem on Cedar Beach Road was reported at 10:26 a.m.

A theft was reported on Burkhart Street at 1 p.m.

A civil dispute was reported on Burkhart Street at 4:39 p.m.

At 4:48 p.m. a welfare check was requested in the 200 block of Marine Street.

At 8:29 p.m. a bear was reported at 301 Wachusetts Street.

At 8:50 p.m. suspicious activity was reported near the Post Office.

At 9:58 p.m. a bear was reported at 700 Indian River Road.

November 6

At 3:13 a.m. and 4:36 a.m. callers reported a bear in the 100 block of Rudolph Walton Drive.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received four ambulance calls Thursday and one at 4:56 a.m.
