Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

November 12

At 4:53 a.m. TSA reported a weapons offense.

At 9:37 a.m. a welfare check was requested at downtown apartments.

At 1:57 p.m. trespassing was reported at the SJ Museum.

At 8:10 p.m. a noise complaint was filed from Burkhart Street.

At 9 p.m. a welfare check was requested at SMC and Indian River Road.

At 9:37 p.m. a welfare check was requested at Lake and Lincoln Streets.

Police noted this morning that this is National World Kindness Day.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 3:18 p.m., 4:42 p.m. and 9:41 p.m. Thursday. At 2:30 a.m. today a false alarm sounded.

Sitka Police

Norman Paul, 45, was arrested Thursday on a warrant.

Kevin See, 29, was charged Thursday with violating conditions of release.
