November 18
At 1:48 a.m. citizen contact was made at Eagle Beach, and at 3:58 a.m. citizen contact was made on Sandy Beach.
At 4:14 a.m. a domestic problem was reported in the 1700 block of HPR.
An animal call came in at 11:41 a.m. from Verstovia Avenue.
At 1:38 p.m. a citizen in the 1200 block of SMC was assisted.
A found property report came in from the 500 block of Monastery Street at 1:18 p.m.
At 3:07 p.m. a report of a possible sexual assault came in from a school. Police are investigating.
A caller reported a reckless driver in the 200 block of Katlian Street at 10:10 p.m.
Police assisted the adult probation officer in a case.
November 19
At 5:24 a.m. a suspicious person was reported on John Brady Drive.
At 8:49 a.m. a disturbance was reported in the 700 block of HPR.
A caller reported a family fight in the 1200 block of SMC at 9:30 a.m.
Citizen contact was made at 5:03 p.m. in the 2000 block of HPR.
A found property report came in at 6:04 p.m. from the 400 block of Lincoln Street.
Police assisted the adult probation office at 9:13 p.m.
November 20
At 7:40 a.m. suspicious activity was reported on Brady Street at 5:24 a.m.
An animal call came in at 3:51 p.m. in the 1200 block of Edgecumbe Drive.
A bicycle was reported stolen at 1:11 p.m. from the 200 block of Lincoln Street.
Three rings were reported stolen at a health facility. Police opened a case.
An animal call came in at 3:51 p.m. from Price Street and Beardlee Way.
A citizen was assisted at Totem Square at 3:51 p.m.
A welfare check was requested in the 2000 block of HPR at 4:09 a.m.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 1600 block of SMC at 4:23 p.m.
At 10:17 p.m. a downtown bar reported suspicious activity.
Missing Woman
Reported Found
A woman troopers reported missing Thursday was located at an Anchorage hospital Friday, Sitka police said today.
The 60-year-old woman, Barbara Carbone, had been living in a shelter in Juneau but her family said her last known activity was on her bank statement in Sitka in July.
In response to the trooper missing person report, Alaska Psychiatric Institute notified authorities Carbone was a patient there.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received two ambulance calls and one fire false alarm on Friday; four ambulance calls Saturday; and four more on Sunday.
Coast Guard
A Coast Guard Air Station Sitka helicopter crew on Saturday flew a 56-year-old woman with flu symptoms and hypoxia from Klawock to Sitka. The call came in at 6 p.m., and the helicopter returned with the patient at 8:06 p.m.
On Friday, the crew medevacked a 64-year-old Angoon man with an obstructed airway. The helicopter took off at 3:34 p.m., and was back with the patient by 4:16 p.m.
Both patients were taken to SEARHC Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center, the Coast Guard said.
