Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

November 27

A domestic problem was reported at a residence at 3:57 a.m.

A  welfare check was requested at 4:49 a.m. on Andrew P. Hope Street.

At 2:45 p.m. an animal problem was reported in the 1300 block of SMC.

At 5:17 p.m. a welfare check was requested on New Archangel Street.

At 10:48 p.m. and at 11:46 p.m. callers reported a bear on Naomi Kanosh Lane.

November 28

At 7:24 a.m. a welfare check was requested in the 600 block of DeGroff.

A theft was reported at Eliason Harbor at 12:07 p.m.

At 4 p.m. a bear was reported at 613 DeGroff Street.

November 29

Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Vitskari Street at 9:45 a.m.

At 2:19 p.m. suspicious activity was reported on Rudolph Walton Circle.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received four ambulance calls Friday, one Saturday and two Sunday.

At 8:35 a.m. Friday the fire boat took pumps to a boat taking on water at Herring Cove.

At 3:04 p.m. Saturday, the fire hall helped get a cat out of a drain near Tilson Street.
