Supporting Himschoot
Dear Editor: We are writing in support of Rebecca Himschoot for State Representative.
During her two years on the Assembly, Rebecca has demonstrated her ability to identify problems, research potential solutions, and work with colleagues to develop policies that have community support.
Rebecca takes the responsibility of being an elected leader representative seriously. She will listen to anyone and everyone with an opinion or an idea before making up her mind.
As a classroom teacher, former Alaska teacher of the year and former member of the State Board of Education, Rebecca has the experience, expertise, creativity and commitment to address the current crisis in public education facing Alaska.
Finally, as a resident of Sitka for more than 20 years, Rebecca knows our community, and she will be an effective voice for us and other Southeast towns in the state legislature, which is dominated by communities on the road system.
I hope you’ll join us in voting for Rebecca for State Representative.
