Presidential Ticket
Dear Editor: Time after time, major issues point to the two senators who, in the absence of John McCain, have the most reasonable and ethical minds in the Senate. There are a few other outstanding leaders in government. I have long wished to be able to vote for a Elizabeth Warren-Lisa Murkowski or Murkowski-Warren ticket. I will claim that stroke of visionary thinking. Everybody else thinks I am joking.
Look at the main thing we get from Senators Murkowski and Collins. Suspended judgment. You can’t beat it. These two politicos want all the information. That is leadership. I know, we have not recently seen much leadership to remember this by. But good judgment is what we need in leaders. Couple good judgment with the compassion that Senator Murkowski showed in the health insurance arena, and what else could we ask from a president-vice president? Well, we could ask these great leaders to chat with Elizabeth Warren.
